MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
BOOK LAUNCH
A HUGE SUCCESS!
On May 27, 2006, Charles and Barbara Whalen greeted more than one hundred guests at the historic McCook House in Carrollton, Ohio to introduce and discuss their new book about America’s famous fighting family. Among those present were several of the Fighting McCooks descendants, including McCook Miller, a prominent Pittsburgh attorney, and Edward J. McCague Jr., a decorated World War II aviator who was awarded three Bronze Stars, a Bronze Arrowhead and the Air Medal for bravery in the European Theatre.
